Happiness is within arm's reach :)
After knowing the theme of graduation project, I immediately came up with idea that the phase of human-centered design is really to be used in the field of medical design. So I started with the point of “different groups in the hospital” at the stage of research and brainstorming. People in the hospital can be divided into two major groups: medical staff and patients. I finished the brainstorming by centering these two groups, and listed the space they may be in, objects they use, their interaction with other people during the day, and what problems exist when they use these objects.
One of the reasons why I chose hospital bedside cabinet is that I found there is a large market vacancy for this kind of product. Second, I thought the product is suitable for human-centered design, because bedside cabinets are patients’ “service center”.
